Sequestered

I studied for a year in Rome, and last month got email from the alumni association telling me Italy had shutdown all foreign campuses in the country. All students had returned home, and the school cancelled the alumni open house that was scheduled for May.

Working daily from home and maintaining social distance, I take walks in the sun with others seeking light and healing. Our Dear Leader struggles to extend his vocabulary so he can bray that his pandemic is tremendously huge.

Sequestered in a home office, on my bookshelf I find a volume of whimsy that I fear may be my future:
